Director Blue Lucine and producers Tom Zubrycki & Helen Barrow have been making a documentary about selling Millers Point since March last year. They will be screening a preview section of the documentary on 19 March at NSW Parliament as a work in progress, to stimulate conversation. A Q&A panel will follow this with experts, and Quentin Dempster as moderator. This is a great opportunity for people to get together and discuss the plans for Millers Point, Dawes Point and the Rocks Sirius building and let everyone have the chance to have their opinions heard.
19 March 11am to 1pm
Panel speakers include:
Michael Darcy, Director – Urban Research Centre, University of Sydney,
Eva Cox – social commentator and activist,
Patrick Fensham – Principal and Partner with SGS Economics and Planning,
Kim Boettcher – Delegate, Aged Care Rights Service,
Shirley Fitzgerald – historian,
Paul McAleer – MUA Secretary, Sydney branch.
Jack Mundey is an esteemed guest.
